Independent Living
Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is designed for participants who require significant support in their daily lives. SIL focuses on developing skills to live as independently as possible, offering assistance with daily tasks, personal care, and community participation. Under the NDIS, SIL funding is determined based on individual needs and is intended for long-term support.
Intertwined's SIL accommodation options are equipped with 24/7 on-site support, ensuring participants have access to the care and assistance they need, whenever they need it, including our unique 24/7 bulk billed fill-in GP and nursing services.

Respite Accommodation
Respite care is part of the Short-Term Accommodation (STA) offering, designed to provide temporary relief for caregivers, allowing them to take a break from their responsibilities.
Respite can be planned or may be used in emergencies, ensuring that participants continue to receive high-quality support in a comfortable, home-like setting. This service underscores our commitment to the well-being of both participants and their families, ensuring a balanced support system is always in place.

Short-Term Accommodation (STA)
Short-Term Accommodation (STA) offers participants and their caregivers a temporary break for up to 14 days at a time. This service is ideal for giving caregivers respite or when participants are transitioning between living arrangements.
Our NDIS short-term accommodation options provide a safe, nurturing environment where our guests can enjoy a change of scenery while receiving full support. Features include engaging activities, community outings, and continuity of care with access to medical professionals as needed.
Medium-Term
Accommodation
Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA)
Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA) is a transitional housing solution for NDIS participants who are awaiting their permanent living arrangements. MTA can be funded for up to 90 days, providing a temporary but stable environment for participants during periods of transition.
Our MTA options are designed to offer a seamless continuation of care, including personalised support plans and access to our on-call 24/7 bulk billed GP and nursing services, ensuring participants' health and well-being are prioritised during their stay.
